The Student Activity and Service Fee Advisory Committee (SASFAC) is charged annually by the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Finance, and the Vice President for Student Life and Enrollment with providing recommendations and advice regarding a fee structure that supports excellence with procedures that are comprehensive and uniform without sacrificing efficiency and flexibility.
The Fall 2025 SASFAC focus is on the FY26 review, FY27 and FY28 budget proposals for the General University Fee and Student Health Services Fee funded departments.
The Spring 2026 SASFAC focus is on the FY26 review, FY27 update and FY28 budget proposals for the Student Activity, Tier III organizations.
With that in mind, the Committee schedules annual budget hearings for the departments, programs and Student Activity Organizations. Should you have any financial questions for the Committee regarding any of the associated fees, you may attend the open forum in advance of the scheduled hearings, the in-person public session at the conclusion of each hearing day.
